Meet Annie

Sr. Concept Artist in Visual Development

Annie is a Belgian artist living in Maastricht, The Netherlands. Since she's been able to hold a pencil she never stopped drawing and painting. It became a passion and Annie decided to build a life around that passion. In 2013 she received her master's degree in the audiovisual arts as an animator and a year later she also got her teacher's certification. Before she started her career as a visual development artist, she was an art teacher for 7 years. Next to being creative, she loves to exchange her knowledge and be a mentor to others. 

Now she works as an illustrator and concept artist for companies such as Ravensburger, Zebu Animation Studios, Pure Imagination Studios and Walking the Dog. Check out her latest designs on LEGO® DREAMZzz™ and Pharrell Williams’ biopic “Piece by Piece”.

Annie mainly works digital in Procreate on the Ipad or with Adobe Photoshop, but she also makes traditional art with acrylics, color pencils or ink. The greater part of her art is character based, with her favorite topic being fun, strong characters who tell a story. she's inspired by them everyday and feels like she can paint them for a lifetime.
